  The rooms were large and nice with balconies. The food was excellent. The owner was very friendly and spoke very good English. He gave us tips for seeing the area. The rate I paid was very good for a single room of this quality. I would definitely go back. - very nice staff and clean room

  The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a large bathroom and toiletries provided which we found rare on our travels at similar guest houses. It even had a kitchen with a refrigerator which was convenient. It was outside of the main city, but the walk wasn't too bad to walk into the city. - This accommodation was the best.   The hospitality and friendliness of the family who run this hotel. Good food and wine. Excellent value. We arrived late at 9:15 pm after a long days ride and they cooked us a meal. Not many hotels would do that!   150% friendly staff, nice large room, superb breakfast with breathtaking views, convinient parking. We all slept like babies for 12 hours in absolutely quiet room:-) Ellenz is tiny town, just a short ferry ride across the river - nice little Beilshtein with its streets and castle where we enjoyed views and a tasty meal.

  The apartment was so cute and comfortable, everything was clean, great view of the castle. Secluded also, kind of a hike to walk to. - Anita was very helpful and apartment was very clean and exceeded expectations. Good place to stay in Cochem, will return in future.
