  The location was superb, close to everything that Weimar has to offer. The hotel was a surprise. When entering we thought ... autch ... where are we ... because of the cold, empty corridor. But once taking the staircase ..; The calm, the quality ot the materials used, the comfort of the room, the bathroom, the beds, the wifi... exquisite! Also b... what people say » reakfast was good quality and what a friendly lady! Good parking too. - This is a modern and very comfortable hotel in the old town of Weimar. It is easy to walk to all the towns attractions from the hotel. The free WiFi worked well and the included breakfast was nice. The staff were very helpful and happily dealt with any special requests.

  After a crummy experience elsewhere Am Wald was great! Beautiful setting-- probably the best asset! Good food at breakfast ( included) Also dined there for dinner - Very nice location near tourist attractions. Good buffet breakfast and also restaurant for the dinner.

  the manager, who runs the hotel on his own, was very cordial and helpful. We stayed in the Garden house with complete kitchen, beds were very good, quiet environment. Breakfast was very special in a family sort of way. The stay was very enjoyable! - the building was nice and not too far from downtown

  The proximity to town was great but it is on a busy street so VERY noisy if the windows are open. The apt. is spacious and clean. Has refrigerator and cook top but no stove. Town is fabulous and apt is in easy walking distance to everything. - I liked the appartment (it's not a hotel, just one appartment in a private house) because it was clean... what people say » , spacious, modern, just a few minutes to the national theatre and the owner was really friendly and kind.

  I loved my stay here. It is a really funky stylish loft apartment. Care has been taken to make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay ( comfy bed, decent hairdryer, ipod docker, good kitchen equipment and even an ipad provided for your convenience).There's lots of space and a lovely little balcony with a view over the rooftops. I felt very comfortable and very cared for by the owner who was available to make sure my needs - Very funky, Mark (the owner) is incredibly nice and accommodating, and the apartment is equipped with completely modern furnishings and fittings. Quite close to the old city (about a 10-minute walk at the most), close to a train station and buses, supermarket around the corner. Fully equipped kitchen, great bed, great bathroom.
