  The staff were fantastic. My partner was suffering from acute backpain when we arrived and as a result was unable to leave the hotel during our stay. Everyone was very kind, especially the lady who gave her some of her own supply of painkillers and offered to go to the pharmacy for more; nothing was too much trouble. - The hotel is "Fabulous".   We have been travelling for four months and have stayed in some wonderful places. Villa Alkener was a highlight of our trip. It has a spectacular view of the Mosel River with boats drifting slowly by and trains meandering around the base of the mountains,. Large rooms. Very good air conditioning. Really was five star. Great location, half way between Koblenz and Cochem. Easy drive or bus ride or ferry in either direction.

  Very modern & clean. Very nice breakfast and the owner was exceptionally nice. Overall good value, but if you need a good night's sleep, do not get a room on the street side. - Location in downtown is great. Many restaurants within a short walk, and close to everything within Kaiserslautern. Staff is great and friendly, with good service.
