We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

Personnel friendliness and real customer service. Eventhough did not use
Minibar but beverages and snacks were free of charge. This is very
important either if you arrive late in evening and want to have some

your disposal with ripping off prices at most hotels.

I am a big fan of family run properties due to the personalised level of service. This was no exception, with wonderful staff who spared no resource making me feel welcome. The villa is decorated so tastefully with antiques everywhere, and the Christmas decorations were the best! I highly recommend during a visit around Christmas for an authentic German experience. Breakfast is delicious and very high quality. Secure property that also takes pride in conserving energy. Lovely!

It was a modern room with fresh new facilities. Very nice bed and bathroom. we had safe and cheap parking and it was literally in the door step on endless streets of cafe's, bars and shops. in such a beautiful area. we stayed there to attend the tennis in Halle and this was only a 30min drive away. The train station is very close too.

They went the extra mile and picked me up from Winterberg and drove me back to the hotel - about 16 km. I don't know of many hotels that would do this -
This was our second stay within few weeks. Dishes you eat here are of excellent taste. It is approx 20km from Winterberg but you get a lot back
