A beautiful location and very high quality rooms/facilities and breakfast selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very peaceful and as there were only 18 rooms, it was not at all crowded. The swimming pool and sauna/wellness facilities were great. The hotel was also close to the ski slopes and the town.

The rooms were both large and well appointed. We ate in the Marco Polo restaurant which has a Michelin star and is justifiably classified. Sitting in the bar and looking up the harbour is a pleasant way to spend an hour. Well worth the price. -

A beautiful place with a beautiful atmosphere. lovely large rooms and a spa and pool-area to die for. To spend a couple of days here exploring the countryside by bicycling (the hotel has several great bikes for rent), horse riding or golfing, visit Hameln or just lounge by the pool. And the breakfast was hands down the best ever!! -

Everything's fine with this hotel - thoroughly recommended. We had a nice big room and the hotel's in a quite location. Free bicycle loan is very handy for this city. A lovely hotel in a quiet location in the Harz mountains. Easy access to great road cycling area. The hotel and the spa were lovely. Attention to detail with no expense spared. Lots of relaxation options both indoor and outdoor, open till late. Spa towels, robes and slippers were provided to allow you to plod around in luxury all day. :)
