  Beautiful location in the forest - a stunning drive! A friendly, older couple running the hotel who couldn't do enough. Our bedroom was actually a 2bedroomed flat, 90msquared in size with a kitchenette! Restaurant food was basic but good with lovely little taster plates coming from the kitchen between courses! Breakfast buffet was basic,tradition... what people say » al European standard, but lovely Black Forest Hams and warm bread rolls. - Everything! The Hotel is right on the B500 so wonderful road to ride in either direction. Close to Baden-Baden. This was our 2nd time of staying and we were greeted like old friends. Decoration of the rooms is exceptionally pretty. We had called to pre-book the fondue again as we had enjoyed it so much last time. Didn't disappoint the second time round. Already planning to go back later in the year.

  Titisee - the lakeside - is unbelievably touristy - cuckoo clocks are only a beginning. But the gastof, although an easy walk from the lakeside and a step from the station, is quiet, discrete, and very comfortable. And you get a free travel pass as part of the deal to take great bus and train rides to very lovely and less crowded parts of the Blac... what people say » k Forest. - Rooms were comfortable. Service was good, especially in bar and restaurant (in main hotel, just around the corner) Guest house very comfortable and smaller than main hotel, which we preferred. Excellent choice for breakfast including some veggie stuff (quite unusual for Germany!_
