  We had a beautiful view of the lake. There is hiking and a wonderful resturaunt, The Kurhaus up the street. No fishing though...you have to get a licence(not at walmart like America) a written test takes a long time to get. - The room was overall very clean, nicely warm despite the outside cold temperature and the bathroom was very new and modern. ... what people say » I found the allergy-free service very helpful. Late check-in and check-out service was possible further to agreement. Also the location of the hotel is very good and central.

  Titisee - the lakeside - is unbelievably touristy - cuckoo clocks are only a beginning. But the gastof, although an easy walk from the lakeside and a step from the station, is quiet, discrete, and very comfortable.
