  Loved this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The location was in the middle of no where and just what we wanted. Dinner on the terrace with the wonderful Black Forest in the distance - amazing! - Friendly atmosphere. Rooms are big and clean, some have a terrasse. Good quality of the restaurant.... what people say » Nice breakfast. Very typical and quiet place. All staff is welcoming and helpfull.

  Character hotel, swimming pool, helpful staff, lovely views from room. You can get to it in less than 10 minutes on foot from Bad Peterstal station. Restaurants and cafe nearby. Would be good for walks etc. if you can get the info or understand German. Remember to bring an umbrella, weather unpredictable.

  This was my second stay and as good as the first. Everything is just great about this obviously family run hotel. - Loved the balcony and felt very welcomed. We would highly recommend Hotel Hirsch.

  The apartments are richly equipped and tastefully decorated. Everything you'll possibly need is there. The lady who rents the apartments is very kind and helpful. Location can't be better: right In the center of the Swarzwald and within 3/4 hour drive to Strassbourg. PS: internet service IS available now. - Apartment was alot bigger than I expect... what people say » ed it to be. Very quiet location. Hosts were very helpful. Good local information in the room. Nicely decorated with candles and nick nacks. Bathroom had everything. Even had a first aid kit. Had a mini bar with reasonable prices.
