  The hotel had a charming traditional feel of a family-run establishment. The room was large and the bathroom was huge. Although some of the décor was a bit dated everything was of top quality and the whole hotel was immaculately clean.   As far as we could make out everything was as near perfect as it could be, apart from the weather. You can't blame the hotel for that! The rooms are excellent, having recently been renovated, and the supply of kettle with tea, coffee and milk is a plus, which very few continental hotels seem to have taken up; a definite feather in their cap. We we... what people say » re also 'offered' the use of umbrellas for the inclement weather without having to ask. The staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable. We - Thelocation is smashing within walking distance to a peaceful but efficient railway station. Excellent connections to Lindau, Ulm, Oberstdorf ,Wangen im Allgau etc. The town itself is beautiful, small with some very nice buildings. The staff were extremely gentle and helpful.The food for breakfast and also for dinner was excellent. Value for money... Would strongly reccommend to anyone hoping to travel in wonderful Allgau. We had to extend our stay because of flight exigencies.... no problem

  The convenience of the location (between the airport and town) was brilliant. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was fully equipped with all the mod cons you would expect, very comfortable and above all, excellent value for money.   fantastic apartment ,well furnished and comfortable .we where in apartment 2 ..which had 2 king size four posters beds although both of them where in the same room.the apartment the hallways and the stairways were absolutely spotless.we didnt do any cooking but everything was there if we had wanted too.we stayed in november and it was just starti... what people say » ng to snow but the heat in the apartment was too much we had to turn the heating down..Memmingen is a beautiful town and the train station was an easy - Memmingen is a small very old town with its own special history. Approx 60 miles SW from Munich & 1/2-way between the Bodensee where Germany, Austria & Switzerland meet. About 15 mins from the small airport. It is used by lo-cost airlines to serve Munich. Storchenfarbe is a 15th century building, completely restored into luxury apartments and a small house, nicely fitted-out with everything one needs.   Staff very helpful - Value for money! Very affordable hotel and still nice and clean rooms, located only a couple of minutes from autobahn A7 at a quiet location. very frindly and helpfull staff and excellent breakfast buffet. Our family of 5 has stayed here 3 times.
