  We were there for Volksfest and it is a 10 - 15 euro taxi for a group of 6 depending on traffic so it was perfect location. It is about a 10 euro taxi into the city as well.   While not in the city center, it was still a healthy walk away. If it hadn't been a comfortable distance away, the whole day would have been spent driving, shopping, eating, and sleeping. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and provided a map with a quick explanation.   The staff were a highlight of this hotel... Friendly would be an understatement! Internet access was free, contrary to an earlier post. Rooms were clean, modern and well worth the money.   This hostel is the cleanest and nicest one I have ever stayed at. The rooms and bathroom were simple yet incredibly nice and clean. If you arrive before 1pm, they can store your luggage for you. It is not directly in the city center, but is a 5min Sbahn ride away (one stop from the main train station), and is right beside the Bad Canstatt Bhf. The breafkast wa - I spent four comfortable nights there first in sole accommodation and then in a dormitory where I had no companions anyway. I was entirely happy with what I got for what I paid and shall be returning on my next visit to Stuttgart - I am likely to be making several in 2013.
