  My family and I were the only guests the night we stayed yet there was a large and delicious breakfast spread out for us the next day. We had a family room for three with 2 sinks and separate toilet and shower so there was plenty of room for all of us to get ready at the same time. The hotel is on a quiet side street but is close enough to walk to town (about 10 min to the Drosselgasse). Members of the family who ow - We really liked our innkeepers. They were super and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is great. The wood carvings in the breakfast room were very special as was the food. We didn't like the location at first because we had to walk up a large hill, but we found out later than the owners would have picked us up at the ship when we arrived. Note to selves: always ask the best way to get to a hotel.

  A nice hotel right on the Rhine and near to the main part of town (Drosselgasse, etc). My room was a nice size and the bathroom was perfectly fine. WLAN was fast, stable and secure but requires a secondary log-on per device. Breakfast was an excellent buffet in a room overlooking the Rhine. The pool was small but was a nice addition. Parking was s... what people say » ecure but the entrance to the underground parking was VERY tight! Staff were very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed my stay here. At the price I paid - The reception staff were very helpful, giving us an upgrade when there was a problem with our room allocation. The location was excellent - we had a room facing away from the Rhine which gave us great views of the vineyards. There was a very good choice for breakfast and the food was of good quality. The bed was really comfortable. There was no real noise problem even though we had the windows open all night - it was nice to hear the church bells!

The owners, who we now call friends, were there for our every need and even gave us a private tour and tasting in their historic wine cellar. Having seen how frequently the trains ran at night we were pleased we opted for this hotel. Location was quiet and not too far to walk although all up hill on the way back. Staff friendly and helpful on advising us where to go. Breakfast included - overall good value and a comfortable stay.
