This is a "designer" hotel and every turn had surprises. Memory foam beds - so comfy. Chalet-looking balconies overlooking a castle on the hill. Great showers. Good breakfast. Fast internet. Our 2 rooms (one couple per room) each had room for a small family. Ours had a larger-than-usual queen bed, a single and a bunk built into the elaborate headboard. Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

Great hotel. Really good breakfast in the morning. About a 10 minute walk from downtown and there are a few restaurants a little closer than that. Only about 8-10 minute drive to castle ticket office. And it's possible to get a mountain view room although we didn't have one. Great little terrace on the back porch to sit and drink wine (we brought our own) after a hard day of touring.
