Excelent for families with children -
Breakfast was awesome and extensive selection of food. Indoor pool was also wonderful. U-Bahn (subway) was a 1-2 minute walk. Secure and underground (the hotel) parking was convenient.

This place was great! Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, secure parking, excellent breakfast. The bottled water, fruit, and candy in the room was a nice touch. - The spacious room with spacious bathroom, the marvelous breakfast, perfect English by the manager and staff, warm welcome in the deep night, parking place free of charge.

The staff were very pleasant and professional and hard working particularly keeping the restaurant well stocked during peak times at breakfast. Everywhere in the hotel was quiet, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated.

Very friendly and humorous staff. Nice, clean and spacious room/bathroom. Conveniently located next to Altona station with easy access to everywhere. We had reserved paid parking in the basement but still the receptionist gave us the choice to cancel it and park on the street for free. Free Wifi. This is the place to stay if you are in Hamburg

I was totally impressed with the Hotel and it's staff and not to mention the close proximity to the public train system. Best bang for your buck for those travelers looking to country hop and need a clean and comfortable room. I've been traveling in Europe for two months and will now only stay at Meininger Hotels.
