  Very pleasantly surprised. We wanted to stay longer! The room was very modern and clean - we felt right at home. It's a good 10 minute walk to town, but for this price and this quality we were prepared to make the hike! The Hotel says it does not offer breakfast, but they provide free good coffee/teas with pastries, yogourt and fruit.

  We felt that we included with the family, not simply anonymous guests passing through. We got to meet young Maria, and one of the owner's three sons even played for us on his accordion! Salzburg is readily accessible As a side-note, we had lef - Who wouldn't love to visit family in a 400-year-old curiosity of a house with winding passages, multiple levels, and a variety of antiques? My daughter, two teenaged grandsons, and I felt welcome and quite at home during out stay. Johannes gave us our choice of family rooms and arranged for the wonderful Bob's Tours (ask for Peter to be your guide);Lalith and Alberto were always friendly and helpful.
