I thought I had booked a room at the "other" Day's Inn on Castillo st and when I looked closer at my reservation it was a State st. The front desk (Sabrina) said they heard this before and I called the "other" Inn and they were not accomodating at all. loved the location, hotel was nice, the lobby was re-done and well staffed. Very quiet hotel and quite comfortable. Loved the hotel and our stay besides the fact that we were in a room that looked nothing like the pictures. I would recommend this hotel just be warned you might not get what you see!

From the moment my wife and I arrived, we loved the location, the hotel and the staff. The room was very large with a great seating area and outdoor space. The pool was a very pleasant place to be after a walk into Santa Barbara and back. The location is great for the beach and connecting highways. -

The fire pit was really nice and the outdoor bar was convenient, the price was affordable, enjoyed the warm pool, flat sreen tv, the bathroom was nice. -
The poolside bar tender was very nice. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit as well.

Excellent location.
Love the absence of floral bedspreads and old carpet.
Modern and streamlined is good in a value motel. Also love the welcome mat for pets! -
I like the cleanliness and the evident good maintenance and intelligently chosen outdoor amenities. (no excessive and costly landscaping)

Very good location, near the freeway and downtown. Lots of shopping and restaurants very close by. Room was spacious and very clean with A/C, TV, fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker and free WIFI. Continental breakfast was good, coffee was very good! There is a very nice clean pool in a beautiful garden setting. All the comforts at a budget price.

We liked the cozy room which felt like home and not too much like a hotel room. The bed was great and had a duvet which we loved, the shower omg soooo good x2 shower heads perfect for couples getting ready quickly. Great location one block from the beach and pier. Nice landscaping and outdoor sitting areas. Clean room recently remodeled.
Great bathroom with two shower heads and modern glass shower. (Its surprisingly difficult to get the two heads the same temperature though. First World Problem.)
Bed sheets smelled great and felt clean and soft. Six pillows on a king size bed were super comfy.
Kitchenette was great although don't see point of gas range and oven with no supplied pots or pans.

The art work all around the hotel was great and there are 2 seating areas on the 1st floor that are quirkily furnished. We had a small furnished patio on the ground floor the room was very small but had all the facilities you need. The bathroom was modern but tiny. I would stay here again. The staff were friendly and helpful. -

We just stayed for 1 night (with late check-in) at the hotel and it was a good experience.
Front desk guy was very nice and helpful. Hotel provides a nice recommendations for places to go for site seeing and to eat.
You can take free bikes at hotel, that is really great if you like to explore places on a bike.
Location was good as is within working distance from downtown.
Clean and rather spacious room (due to high ceiling), good furniture.
