We were making a round trip of the US West and spending a weekend in SF (June 22 to 24). Slightly shocked with the hotel rates, we picked this one as it was more or less reasonably priced (still > 100 USD per night) and had free parking (evidently hard to find in SF) and WiFi. My mom and I went to San Fransisco for just one night. When we started
looking at hotels we got really overwhelmed. Everything was so expensive
with poor reviews. Except this place. The reviews were decent. And we

A very nice place perfectly located in the center of S.Francisco. Transportation is very convinient, including Airport transfer - just 10 min from BART (local Subway) Powell station, directly connecting location with SFO (35 min to Terminal 3). You can walk to the piers from this hotel, its .8 miles away so not bad
at all. I suggest parking in the lot across the street from this hotel,
its $27 a day as opposed to $50 for Hilton parking (although it isnt the

Clean, comfortable and relaxed. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Welcoming happy half-hour every night. - Good value for the money when booked through LetsBookHotel.com (25% off when compared with direct booking with the hotel!) We love the beautiful center of the hotel with the hanging lights and water element. Also the location is right across from the Ferry Building so there is lots to do & see. Room service food was delicious. We had a balcony room and loved the view. -

The Regency was easy walking distance to everything I needed in SF: Union Square for my conference, the BART line to and from the airport for a reasonable price, and tourist attractions like the F line to Fisherman's Warf. The staff at the Regency was very helpful and friendly.

The staff was amazing! I had a unique situation, with moving halfway
across the country with my new job, allergies, & a car. They worked
with me and accommodated all of my wishes. The eggs (whites), fruit, and
waffles for breakfast were big plusses. Also, the Wi-Fi was secure and I
needed that for work. I will probably stay there again during my
transition. The neighborhood is great too!

We had a wonderful stay with our family- the rooms are bit cramp, but we
knew this. We wanted to stay near union square and that we did. We were
able to really enjoy everything in walking distance. We would return
again. We normally stay around the corner but after such a lovely stay
at The Sir Frances Drake, we would definiltey stay there again.

Pizza and wine tasting hour great, met interesting travellers at the hotel. Bed very comfortable.
