I thought I had booked a room at the "other" Day's Inn on Castillo st and when I looked closer at my reservation it was a State st. The front desk (Sabrina) said they heard this before and I called the "other" Inn and they were not accomodating at all. Scott, the mgr. was in a 3 person meeting but still overheard and came to assist. My wife and I

loved the location, hotel was nice, the lobby was re-done and well staffed. Very quiet hotel and quite comfortable. Loved the hotel and our stay besides the fact that we were in a room that looked nothing like the pictures. I would recommend this hotel just be warned you might not get what you see!

Susan, at the front desk was very warm and knowledgeable about things to do and places to eat. We would stay at The Agave again.

The location was superb, right across from the beach, Stearns Wharf and yacht club. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance as was Old Town. Close to many wine bars. Offers nice buffet breakfast. Staff exceptional, especially Mynor at the front desk.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. -

From the moment my wife and I arrived, we loved the location, the hotel and the staff. The room was very large with a great seating area and outdoor space. The pool was a very pleasant place to be after a walk into Santa Barbara and back. The location is great for the beach and connecting highways. -

The fire pit was really nice and the outdoor bar was convenient, the price was affordable, enjoyed the warm pool, flat sreen tv, the bathroom was nice. -
The poolside bar tender was very nice. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit as well.

Frank is the best concierge I've met. Super friendly and helpful. I was frazzled after my long leg of my journey and instantly it went away when checking in. Frank was funny and super informative.
The place far exceeded expectations. The beds are extremely comfortable. It is modern and fresh and clean.

The facilities include both a pool deep enough to tread at one end and an on-site coin laundry.
The Continental breakfast is terrific, featuring fresh fruit, Kona coffee and a wide choice of baked goods as well as other options.
There is a tub with the shower, surprisingly rare and welcome.

Check in was super easy and relaxed. There was a delicious breakfast
basket welcoming us, which included fresh baked banana bread! The
location to the beach/marina is excellent. Bikes were available for
us free of charge, and that made getting around town super easy. It made
going to the Farmers Market an extra pleasure. (Beach towels available
too!) We stayed in Room 116c, which has a beautiful king size bed,

I liked the location -- a few blocks off the freeway 101 and very easy to find -- a just a short walk from the harbor and beach where there is so much to see and do. The staff was helpful and friendly and the continental breakfast was one of the best for a small boutique hotel
