Stayed for one night as we were visiting ucsb. Jon checked us in and
helpful and friendly in answering the few questions we had about the
motel and surrounding area. The folks at the front desk the next day
were also very courteous and friendly. Breakfast had a lot of choices
and was included in the room price. It is located just off the 101

The place felt safe, had a nice view, was very clean, and was centrally
located with a private feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The elevator was very helpful with luggage and unexpected. We used the
guides at the front desk.We were charged exactly what we expected, no
surprises. The pool looked nice.

The king size bed was firm and comfortable, the room was quiet. Free
cookies in the lobby were nice, directions to 4th of July activities
were great, breakfast was good and ample. -
Courteous staff. Lots of snacks provided throughout the day. Great continental breakfast! Clean rooms and pool area. Really enjoyed our stay.

The young man who checked me in and out the next day was very friendly
and helpful. He called my room after I got there to ask if everything
was okay. The motel is definitely no-frills but it was quite
comfortable, clean and quiet even though it was full. Also, there was no
deposit or charge for my little dog. I loved that! The staff and

The fire pit was really nice and the outdoor bar was convenient, the price was affordable, enjoyed the warm pool, flat sreen tv, the bathroom was nice. -
The poolside bar tender was very nice. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit as well.

Excellent location very helpful staff. The pool and the jacuzzi is ideal for a relaxed morning and afternoon. The shuttle service make it so convenient to go around. The market place next door has the best restaurants and also a big super market. I would love to come back here every time. -

I had to travel at the last minute, and my actual length of stay was
undetermined. The staff worked with me on a daily basis to extend my
stay without "room hopping". I know it's all based upon
availability, but I feel like they went the extra mile to accommodate me
(and my ill college student). -

My husband and I were visiting Santa Barbara for a horse show. We spent
the week at the Pepper Tree! Very clean nicely appointed rooms. Location
great for Earl Warren Show grounds or shopping and dining in downtown

Loved the lay out with the patios to the pool. The restaurant was delicious. Loved the food and the service. Fruit, water and candy in the rooms. Located across from the mall.

Excellent value we stayed longer than planned room was large and was
overlooking the pool we loved the breakfast and diner theme. The pool
was heated which was great as we stayed there at the end of march as it
got a little chilly at night but there was also a hot tub which was very

Totally the best hotel in this category from what we've visited and seen here so far. Despite it only has 2 stars, the service and facilities are worth 3+ stars. The hotel offers breakfast that's delicious and generous in variety. Premium service and accessories on rooms (radio alarm which allows you to charge iphones and with usb ports, a computer with a printer at the reception for free for visitors). Amazing price.

It was a lovely room that felt fresh and new, it was clean, the staff was very nice and welcoming, the area was lovely and surrounded with restaurants and useful shops, and situated near the beach. The beds were very comfortable (esp after my long journey from SF) and I felt safe falling asleep there.
