  relaxed and comfortable ambiance. staff was courteous and friendly and helpful. the room was somewhat spartan, but clean and met our needs well. the grounds were well maintained and had staff out raking and pruning daily. the concierge was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. onsite restaurant and bar were enjoyable. the staff was accommodatin... ce que les gens disent » g. swimming in the pool was good and the pool was clean. swimming in the gulf was also available, and equipment such as sea-do, kayaks, and paddle boa - the rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We booked a room facing the water. It was a joy to open the seaside window in the morning and let in the fresh, warm air. The hotel is next to busy route 1, but it still has a small, family resort feel. There are iguana, giant turtles, and Ibis on the hotel grounds. The guy who rents the paddle boards and kayaks was also great. We can tell that it's had an upgrade recently because the paint is fresh and the facilities look updat
