  Wonderful ship-deco architecture including original Cuban tile floors, jalousie windows, wooden jalousies on room door, rooftop deck with excellent view of treetops, birds, and the sunset. There were several patio areas to enjoy, including a lovely roof top deck. It seems that El Patio has many repeat customers and people were very friendly. I got lots of helpful tips regarding places to see and restaurants to check out...all while sitting outside enjoying the lovely weather while talking to others who were staying at the hotel.   It was within walking or biking distance of the busy downtown fun, but provided a relaxing retreat with quite when needed. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area, friendly and helpful. I liked the variety of visitors that we got to interact with at breakfast or by the pool. Close from the beach, but the beach is private. Walkable distance to Duval street. Good guy at the reception. Pool right in front of the room. Would recommend for family, couples alike. Breakfast and wi-fi included. Room had a small dressing room outside bathroom which was cool.

  Reception was efficient and helpful. The staff were knowledgeable and very willing to make bookings for taxis or excursions. The night staff were equally good. The cleaners and their supervisors were keen to ensure that our stay was marked by a very good standard, we were impressed. The Motel is on the south side of the island - a block away from - I enjoyed my stay there. Marcus and Natalie were always helpful. If I needed anything they would have cards or call for me. What is convenient there is store, little ice cream shop, food, and scooters right around the corner. Duval is one street over and the beach is a couple of streets away. I had the double room since I was a single and it was nice and roomy. I had a big flat screen TV that was great. The dressing area and bathroom were also big. Like I said I enjoyed my stay in Key We
