  This was an older hotel but it was clean, well maintained, and had a charm about it. The location was wonderful.....could walk any where. The staff was wonderful. Heart describes them best. We were greeted with smiles and helpfulness and they put themselves out for us in some very important ways. My spouse had a disability and I asked for... what people say » some help. They were there for us instantly and continued to inquire if there was anything they could do further. They were warm and it was real. W - The view was spectacular from our room, overlooking the bay. The location is unbeatable in my opinion, right in the little town of Tofino, close to the water. Grocery store, bakery, gallery, wharf, nice restaurant, all within a block. A Saturday public market two blocks away. Amazing. There is a lounge area for preparing food which allows guests to interact if desired and feel connected to the others in the hotel. Location is unbeatable for what we wanted!

  We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and water kettle in the kitchenette, just perfect for traveling with children. Lovely view out to The Empress Hotel, downtown and some water views. Staff was gracious and helpful. The pool area was also nice. Wish we had had more time to swim, but water is deep (5-9 ft).   Best accommodation on our holiday. Very good size very comfortable room. The owner, Wayne, was very friendly and cooked an excellent breakfast. He went out of his way to phone people up to find out about some of the things we wanted to do. As we arrived in town we reached the river and turned onto the road with the guesthouse on it. We highly recommend making use of the pool table at this B and B. It was in excellent condition with great lighting and lots of space. Breakfast was delicious.

Your staff was able to book us a pet friendly room and rectify the problem. I really appreciated that.

It gave me the impression that the owners of the Westerly are good corporate citizens and care about providing employment for their community.   We liked the freedom of self- catering & the space in the 1 bedroom chalet we had booked. It was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The surroundings were very pleasant & relaxing - well kept grounds & a lovely view too. All credit must go to Anna- Marie who manages the site & is very keen that you are happy & have every... what people say » thing you need. She cleaned the rooms every day, replenished supplies & even baked a delicious blackberry pie for us! - Although you have to travel about 3 km down a dusty gravel road to get there, it is worth it. Cedar Park Resort has manicured grounds and friendly staff/owners. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom duplex cabin which was very clean and it had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Playing cards were even provided. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. I would stay again and I recommend the resort.

  I stayed in Suite 302, a lovely 2 bedroom suite with balcony overlooking the harbour and the beauty of Victoria. The living room, the bedrooms and the balcony all offer exquisite views of the harbour. This is one of the finest establishments I encountered in British Columbia. It is in the heart of the waterfront, central to everythin - I was in a jam & needed a quick last minute hotel option for my visit. Internet found-All positive reviews to reassure and was very surprised to walk into out beautiful room with an amazing view of the harbour & better yet.. An excellent choice & will definitely be staying agin. Every aspect of downtown Victoria were in walking distance for us (as its a busy town with limited parking). I recommended this hotel to all my friends & family for furure stays. You won't be disapointed

  Great and Helpful Staff. Very close to the water and in the core of Tofino. It was the perfect location for my stay (attending a local wedding 5mins away). Room was very clean. Price was very fair given the location (co-op food store is right across the street, water and pier are half block away, bank on corner, post office on adjacent corner,... what people say » liquor store is right behind the hotel, many great restaurants all within a 5min walk). Coffee is on from 0800hrs to 1100hrs daily. Schooner Pub is - We arrived very late - 11-45pm. The office had closed at 8-30pm and so we were unable to check in. However, the keys to our room were left for us to collect. Very good service.
