    The room in which we stayed was large with a generous terrace and a beautiful vantage point over the harbour. The French doors allowed us to fully enjoy the view and provided easy access to the outside. The staff were very friendly and informative.     Beautiful rooms right out of a magazine; Fresh flowers every day; gourmet breakfast (4 to 5 courses); fresh coffee when you wake; a bed so soft & comfortable you don't want to leave it (& it was turned down with chocolates at night; library filled with books & a computer plus small frig with cold drinks; grounds out of a garden magazin... what people say » e & staff so friendly & helpful. - Everything from the beauty of the house and the garden, the comfort and decoration of the rooms, the modern bathrooms, the delicious gourmet breakfasts and most of all the warm welcome of the host and staff. Everyone was kind and always eager to help the guests finding restaurants, preparing for visits of Victoria. This was an excellent and very relaxing stay. We will go back.

    The Black Rock was the delightful and invaluable base for the best family vacation we have ever had. The Wild Pacific Trail is easily accessed and enjoyed from the lodge. The restaurant and cafe were well priced with excellent menus. Ucluelet is a great town for wildlife viewing - stay around this area for the best chance at sea otters.

    We stayed at Abigail’s for three nights July 16-18 2013 after reading the many positive online reviews – all of which are well deserved. Abigail’s Hotel is a small boutique bed and breakfast hotel, located on a cul-de-sac in a very nice residential area of downtown Victoria and close to the attractions of the Inner Harbour. The free parking, behind the hotel - This was, by far, our best place we stayed during our 11-day honeymoon. The staff was so welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, as well as the evening hors d'oeuvres. We enjoyed relaxing in the library lounge room, and visiting with the other guests. In the room, the fireplace was a nice touch. Also, the sound machine on the bedside table played some soothing music that we enjoyed. We have already told many of our family and friends that Abigail's is the only place to book in the future.

    Location and view was lovely. Very relaxing atmosphere and grounds have a few very easy walks to just unwind. Wish I could return one day. - food was good, quiet at night, cruise ships go by close. Lots of marine traffic to watch, weather has been good every time we've visited.

    I don't think I didn't like anything. It is a nice place, the bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We walked around the area abit, would like to have looked more, was very quaint. Would for sure stay there again. I didn't buy any of the items that you sell, but I think that is a good idea, to ... what people say » sell the linen etc. I also didn't get a chance to try the restaurant so I can't comment on that. - Front desk were all friendly and helpful, considerate of our age. Our room was very clean and the appointments fresh and appealing. We liked the little balconu for fresh air and the view was pretty even tho' we were not very high up, our choice. We recommended the hotel to afriend who is going to stay there next week.

    Loved the view from 802 and 804. We were planning on staying one night only.....but couldn't resist another night. Front Desk staff are amazing. When my parents were alive we stayed with them in Qualicum Beach...beautiful view on the bluff and 2 min walk to the beach. So I never had any reason to book other accommodation. We had a one bedroom condo so there was a queen bed in the room with a pull out couch in the loving room. It also included a full kitchen that had everything you needed. Also there was a late adult swim that went from 9:30- 10:30 which was nice to have so late at night.

    This is a first class luxury establishment. I stayed in Suite #302, which had a wraparound deck overlooking the harbour/bay of Sooke. It was beautiful.
