For the money I doubt you'd find anything better :) - Our trip was to help our son relocate to Victoria from Edmonton. It took a few days to move into an apartment so they switched him to a room with kitchenette; (even on-site washer/dryer) with everything he ciuld have needed and spotlessly clean. The decor looked new, possibly just well maintained. Staff very friendly, gave us the room for a good weekly rate, great location just 5 minutes drive from Downtown. Would definitely return to this hotel.

  We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience.   I liked the friendly greeting I recieved from the staff on arrival.Rhonda in housekeeping took special care that my room was well provided. Satish, the manager was on top of everything and even drove me into town on a particularly rainy day. The continental breakfast is more than ample and the breakfast room is very pleasant. I used the Barbecue area on the Sunday that I was ther - Right from the start we were treated so well by the Manager. He graciously came and picked us up from town since we had flown into Ganges by seaplane. We were able to walk into and back from town several times. Later he drove us to pick up our adult daughter who was joining us. He was gracious and helpful and went the extra mile twice! The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. We also used the hot tub and enjoyed the location with the view of the ocean and the woods.

  When we arrived Christy Zheng greeted us. She was professional and covered off all the information we needed to know and sent us off to our room in an efficient manner. When we got to the room I found that it was clean and bed seemed nice as well as I noticed that the towels were newer.   We've never slept on as luxurious and comfy beds as those in our room at the Days Inn in Nanaimo. It was like sleeping on a cloud! (The mattress cover and duvet were down-filled!) After traveling for close to two weeks it was nice to have guest laundry which was accessible and clean. they even offered to provide the laundry soap.

  The staff were so helpful and friendly!! I've never had service that exceptional. I had looked at the pictures online but in person I was still pleasantly surprised by just how nice the hotel was. Not just our rooms but the front, the lobby, hallways...everything was updated and beautiful. The towels were so fluffy!   The room in which we stayed was large with a generous terrace and a beautiful vantage point over the harbour. The French doors allowed us to fully enjoy the view and provided easy access to the outside. The staff were very friendly and informative.   I liked the layout of the room. The room was clean. I liked the bed. It was just right - not too firm, not too soft. I liked that there wasn't an old bedspread on top. I liked the continental breakfast downstairs. I liked how clean the area was and the simple choices. The coffee was really good. It gave me the impression that the owners of the Westerly are good corporate citizens and care about providing employment for their community.   I stayed in Suite 302, a lovely 2 bedroom suite with balcony overlooking the harbour and the beauty of Victoria. The living room, the bedrooms and the balcony all offer exquisite views of the harbour. Each bedroom had its own ensuite, with luxurious appointments.There was a full kitchen, well-stocked, several tvs, free wifi and plenty of luxurio... what people say » us amenities. This is one of the finest establishments I encountered in British Columbia. It is in the heart of the waterfront, central to everythin - I was in a jam & needed a quick last minute hotel option for my visit. Internet found-All positive reviews to reassure and was very surprised to walk into out beautiful room with an amazing view of the harbour & better yet.. An excellent choice & will definitely be staying agin. Every aspect of downtown Victoria were in walking distance for us (as its a busy town with limited parking). I recommended this hotel to all my friends & family for furure stays. You won't be disapointed
