Great location for sightseeing and near the Rocks. The room was very well appointed, laid out and comfortable (including the bed). A few friends stayed at the same hotel and all thought the same. Being on a high floor facing George St away from the noise below was good. Having a balcony to step out was also a good feature. Would stay here again. A good value for a studio style room. Kids have more room to play around. Cooking facility is good as well, good stay...lots of places to eat for lunch, but most of them are closed after 5:00pm. There is a Chinese restaurant just cross from the hotel, nice food, reasonable price. Hotel is located at waynird station exit, quite convenient!.

Carpark needs better labeling as on first visit not knowing actually where the hotel was we weren't sure at first how to access the carpark on arrival so we Gould book in as carpark door was locked & 2x5 minute carparks were taken! With busy Sydney traffic there is little time to work it out but we soon did as in our hesitation we saw the intercom! We wished the intercom on arrival had been mentioned in the booking confirmation!. The Restaurant offers a breakfast menu all day but no dinner menu. I didn't like the fact that I didn't have a pin option on the master card, only a signature option. The cost of parking at $50 per night is prohibitive. It will definitely prevent me from returning if I am able to find a hotel with more affordable parking. The fact that I found out check checking out that I had only been billed for 1 night and then had another charged - I am hoping I do not get charged again. I cant fault them everything was great. Noise from the busy road was noticeable as the room was facing George Street. Can't think of anything for here,. We had a 2 bedroom apartment there wasn't enough cooking utensils.There was only 1 small frying pan and no saucepans at all but enough plates kinfes and glasses etc. We were promised 2 TV's in the room, there was only 1. We were offered another room with 2 TV's, it only had 1 so we had to carry all our stuff back to the original room as the view was better. Not impressed. I like to watch tv in bed. I have stayed at the mantra in excess of 10 times. I find the reception staff to be ignorant, rude and unfriendly every single time. If the staff were better trained in customer service the hotel would be perfect. Bathroom a little squeezy, the ceiling lights all looked like they had caught on fire at some point which was a little disconcerting, the lack of free wifi!. The noise coming from the street. There is a pub around the corner and people smoke outside and are very loud. The fact that I had to close the window because of the smoke getting into the room. Nothing. 1.outrageous parking fee which was additonal to room rate;more expensive than other 4star cbd hotels 2.room card had to be continually rekeyed for entry to pool area and parking. Dirty windows. Room service -very pricey and poor quality. The bar fridge was not restocked during our stay. Breakfast was included, apparently to the value of $35, but it would have been cheaper to have breakfast not included and pay for it separately. View from my room was of a brick wall !!. Having to pay $100 bond was unexpected. Room information not easy to find in room, aircon controls hidden in cupboard. bathroom size , swimming pool was out of service for maintenance , parking costs. The spa on roof had broken jets and there was a large cockroach in the rooftop spa area. Scratchy sheets, bad mattress. Smokey air and loud noise from street below. For the price we expected two bathrooms in the two bedroom apartment; Reception was a bit over-run; Loading zone to drop off baggage was under construction. Rowdy foyer.
