Close to Wynyard station Lady at reception was lovely and helped me with my bags, toddler, portacot etc, she loaded me onto the trolley, including my son in his carseat and helped us unload into our room. She had a NZ accent and was wearing a grey shirt when she checked in. She was great and deserves recognition!! On the Sunday there was a brunette lady (looked young, maybe mid twenties) who was very helpful to me and my son and held the lift as I arranged him and my groceries in the early afte.
all reviews » We stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom, one bathroom apartment with our 3 kids including a baby in a portacot. The apartment was fabulous, very clean and spacious and extremely comfortable for all of us. Our kids loved the heated pool and spa. Excellent location and easy walking distance to the main attractions and with Wynyard station around the corner, getting to Bondi or anywhere else was a breeze. We will definately stay here again and recommend to others. Very nice apartment with a balcony and nice living room with a small kitchen, spacious bathroom and good bedroom. All in excellent condition. Very well located and easy to walk to Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Circular Quay/The Rocks. Excellent Japanese Restaurant next door to the hotel and close to a Starbuck's for those that like that. Highly recommended. I enjoyed the spacious apartment and the balcony. It was lovely sitting out in the evening being able to watch the world go by. The location is excellent. It's close to all major city attractions,, there's a supermarket nearby, train station a five minute walk away, restaurants & cafes close by. We loved the location close to Wynyard Station, it was very easy to get to other areas of the city and getting in and out of the hotel was easy too. there is not a lot of staff visible as lobby is small but staff were very helpful. Also great that wireless was free and easy to access. Ajay (Concierge) was exceptional in his dealings with us. Hotel was a quick walk away from Circular Quay, Darling Harbour & Wynyard train station. Spa, Sauna & Pool area was clean & well maintained. Beds were comfortable. Our studio on the 14th floor was equipped with absolutely everything we needed for our 9 day stay, and was high enough to protect us from the traffic noise. Quality of hotle exceeded my expectations.I need to stay in the city fairly often for business reasons but this hotel was also extremely relaxing and poolside was quite a treat. As with everyone else, the internet charge but at least it was only 12 dollars per 24 hours as opposed to 25 which most hotels charge. Nothing. There was nothing about your hotel that I did not like !. There really was nothing which we didn't like. Not a fault, all good/great. Night construction noise disturbed our sleep on our first 5 night visit. We were given a higher unit on our 2 subsequent visits. Unable to accomodate early check-in or late check-out. Lack of good or adequate cooking facilities- no pan for cooking eggs for breakfast. Groovier cups, plates, etc would have been nice- they looked pretty knocked around. Toaster didn't work so we had to toast our bread in the oven!. Only your rates - especially if we are sightseeing all day and not really using the rooms. All great. Disappointed the spa wasn't working but understood that things do breakdown. waiting too long for lift (I do understand that the hotel was waiting for part to arrive from Italy),. *Front Desk Staff not particularly friendly. *Booked several months ahead with the expectation of an apartment with some view but ended up lower than hoped - disappointing. High Chair was grotty, looked like it hadnt been cleaned. As apartments are not double glazed windows - traffic noise was easily heard. But ear plugs helped. Not being able to stay longer !. The air conditionary was noisy the shower cubicle frames need updating. The soap dish wasn't clean and some of the skirting boards were very dusty. Whats not to like!!!! No complaints at all. We were fearful of setting off the smoke alarm. We were warned that it would cost us over $1,000.00!! I almost chose to eat out or not cook at all because of that warning. Only having enough milk for 2 cups of coffee/tea per day available was disappointing. The iron leaked out water & felt unsafe when using. No ass tray on balcony. Two beds put together as one was uncomfortable & for a cold night only having sheets & no donnas available made our sleep unpleasant. No restaurant on site. This review would be 100%,except for the uncomfortable bed and mattress,which I feel could use a upgrade, to go with the quality of the hotel. Didn't like that the car park wasn't identifiable from the street nor was it described in the booking information. The bathroom wall paper was old and tacky and was pealing off the walls. soft furnishings were a bit soiled but clean. The traffic noise on York Street could be a bit annoying when the balcony doors are open, however it didn't really bother us. Washing machine in room did not work. Reception sent somebody to wrong room. Diagnosed problem myself and lifted tumble dryer off washing machine, moved machine, turned on water and replaced everything. Who checks the facilities?. I can't think of anything I disliked about the hotel and would thoroughly recommend it to friends. Room was disappointing.small ,lacking some basic items. Nothing like what photos portray. Wifi had to be paid for - something that should be free in such an establishment.
