My husband and I, loved the location , as it was walking distance to cafes, buses , ferry, shops, Sydney harbour, Opera house and trains. We loved the comfy bed and pillows so much we haven't slept as well since arriving home. We loved the polite, well mannered and very professional staff, who treat you with such respect no matter what you are wearing. The staff were so wonderful as they followed up on our tour booking for the next day ,which we didn't expect. It was awesome. Nothing was too mu.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Staff offered us a reasonably priced upgrade to a harbour view room which we accepted. Beautiful room on a high floor and lovely view. Great bathroom with separate shower which I prefer. We had a room service late snack which arrived promptly. Quality of food was average but as we only had the mushroom soup other options could have been tastier. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices for a a wide variety of cultures. We loved everything this hotel had to offer, location in particular as we could walk everywhere we wished to go. The entire ambience of the hotel was excellent. From the moment we entered the very spacious lobby ( air conditioned ) we knew we would not be disappointed with this hotel, cleanliness, beautifully decor, friendly, professional staff, it has it all. We recommend it highly. The hotel staff were very friendly! We had our bags collected from our room and held a few hours until our flight. Unfortunately the baggage collector left the laptop/bag in the room by mistake however the cleaning staff promptly returned it to lost property. The cleaning staff were great and were happy to come back at anytime to clean if we were still using the room. Very close to circular key, public transport, shops, entertainment and site seeing activities. Staff were wonderful, person who took our booking went above and beyond; person who booked us in was fabulous, customer serious (room and room services) was great, and the concierge was very helpfull - all we're professional and polite. The location was fantastic, just a stone throw away from the Harbour and the Opera House. Beautiful place to go for a walk with the botanical gardens near by as well as other marinas. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The Opera House tour is also worthwhile with further discounts available to go and see shows once attended. Room service was excellent, all staff were extremely polite and helpful the massage treatment was perfect the taxi service was expectional , the view from our room was just perfect we would recommend to any one and certainly come again. They were far too pricey, it only enchouraged us to go out to the local bars and restaurants. However would return to this hotel without hesitation if we visit Sydney again. The $200 deposit (holding fee), - I felt it was a bit much, and it was unexpected. Having to leave!. Not much of a view from the rooms. The hotel building is surrounded with high rises all over. Nothing to no like. Only difference in comparison to Marriot on the gold coast not including the lagoon and swimming areas was the size of the room. Sydney room was smaller but just as comfortable. Bit expensive - but that's Sydney. Complicated and frustrating TV menu. Nothing. We liked everything. Breakfast was too expensive at your hotel. We had breakfast at the cafe next door. We had to ask for robes and slippers. The clothes closet was too small. I needed to hang clothing all over the room. Overall, I would rate the room 3 stars. The lobby and service and staff were 5 stars. When we first checked in we had to request housekeeping for some basis things like bedroom slippers & bottled drinking water... Nothing. Nothing. A little pricy. Breakfast was not great, tough bacon, eggs cold. No free Wi-fi. it was pretty expensive. I would have loved a Harbour view, my previous stay at the Marriott we had a room with a great view of the Harbour Bridge. Disappointed no free wi Fi in room when we travelled to Europe in May this year wi Fi was included in most hotels we stayed!. Overpriced valet service with no alternatives. Typical in Sydney, its expensive. Upgraded to harbour view room but wasn't a great view of the harbour. Only ventilation system of our room was not good. Price to high. Booking requested 2 double beds. Hotel didn't receive booking for 2 beds hotel fully booked so unable to provide. However a rollaway was provided although not very comfortable. no bathrobes, had to request no cotton buds or luxury bathroom kit which other hotels have pillows too soft. No comb or Hair brush in the room No Toothpaste or Tooth brush Shower Only / No optional Bath. The "view" of the opera house was not what I expected. No free internet service. Expensive breakfast for what it is. Rooms were very small. Walls were thin, I heard the snoring of the person next door and then also heard the alarm clock go off in the next room. specifically asked for 2 beds when booking - but got one. Was told that if making such a request online it needed to be followed up with a phone call Staff at check-in disinterested; wifi expensive. Cost- prices were extraordinarily high for a single room. No free wifi. Even with high prices, there was no view of the bridge or the water. bathroom amenities could be better-should not have to ask for cotton buds! No hot chocholate-tea and coffee range can improve. n/a.
