Nice deep sink in room for washing baby bottles, no need to wash them in the bathroom.   Hotel is in a central position, staff were welcoming and friendly from check in. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Rooms whilst on the small side are simply decorated, all the essentials of bar fridge, tea & coffee included, plus a microwave oven. Property has a pool on top level, which we hope to use next visit.......excel... what people say » lent value! - I had a very comfortable suite, plenty of space, big bed with good mattress, fine cotton bedlinen; the bathroom was unusually large with walk-in shower. Real coffee with plunger in the kitchen area was a nice touch. Very helpful staff showed me the quick way to Central so I didn't have to cope with the hills from the city centre.

  We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go. The staff (receptionist- I assume she is the owner) was very friendly and helped us a lot to plan our sight seeing. Worth for every dol... what people say » lar you spend - It was our first visit to High Chaparral, but hopefully not the last.The room was very clean and comfortable. Enough packing space. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate. Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

  We had a fabulous stay and cannot fault the accommodation and facilities. A couple of things that were a stand out was the standard of our room - modern, comfy and clean and the location - pretty much walking distance to everything. Southbank is just amazing! - The location was great, right in the middle of the cbd.   The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough aw... what people say » ay from any street noise. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

  Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. My room was on the ground floor overlooking one of the swimming pools - it was l... what people say » arge, clean and well decorated. The bed was huge and comfy and couldn't have wanted more. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.

  We thought the staff were very accommodating. They really made us feel welcome. I also thought the breakfast was really good.
