This lodge was everything we expected and more. The main lodge is breathtaking, set against the trees with huge fireplaces in the lobby and the restaurant. It was very quiet due to the time of year. Accommodation was excellent, we were able to check in early as our room was available and all in all, it was a very pleasant stay. I would definately use this lodge in the future.

Travelers please keep in mind that this lodge is in the middle of Sequoia National Park and is therefore not a resort type setting. However the location is amazing. You can get anywhere in the park within the hour.

Everything!! Dinner and breakfast was buffet, and they pack you a lunch for trails if you request it the day before! The food was delicious and they always have coffee, tea, cereal & milk, and breads available whenever you need a quick pick me up after hiking. Beautiful trails for any level hiker all around, activities provided, and the staff is friendly. Very clean room. Cozy but roomy. Beautiful views.
