  This lodge was everything we expected and more. The main lodge is breathtaking, set against the trees with huge fireplaces in the lobby and the restaurant. The restaurant is divine, we ate dinner and breakfast there. Our dinner meal was superb and the service was second to none. Then at breakfast we watched deer meandering and the sun rising throu... wat mensen zeggen » gh the trees while we sipped our coffee; not something you can experience in many places! The lodges are cosy, warm and clean. You really feel like yo - It was very quiet due to the time of year. Accommodation was excellent, we were able to check in early as our room was available and all in all, it was a very pleasant stay. I would definately use this lodge in the future.

  Travelers please keep in mind that this lodge is in the middle of Sequoia National Park and is therefore not a resort type setting. However the location is amazing. You can get anywhere in the park within the hour. Its run like a summer camp, so expect active teenagers, but not loud and obnoxious like most. The lodge rooms are clean, have reliable hot water, but the walls can be thin depending on which r - Everything!! Dinner and breakfast was buffet, and they pack you a lunch for trails if you request it the day before! The food was delicious and they always have coffee, tea, cereal & milk, and breads available whenever you need a quick pick me up after hiking. Beautiful trails for any level hiker all around, activities provided, and the staff is friendly. Very clean room. Cozy but roomy. Beautiful views.
