  We were very Happy to stay there . The location was perfect for us and when we got back in the evening most of the staff greeted us, we were very comfortable till our next day adventures. Joshua, and the young lady in the restaurant , I believe her name was Joselyn (not quite sure), are excellent .   We had a one night stopover and chose this hotel as it was close to the airport. As I habitually have a cup of tea on arrival at any hotel, I really appreciated the all day tea/coffee /hot chocolate provided free of charge in the lobby.   From the front desk staff to the cleaning crew, all the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help in any way. We especially enjoyed the people who helped with the complimentary breakfast. The hotel was centrally located so we were never more than 10 minutes from the things we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again. - Breakfast... what people say » was a great deal.   Beach Haven Inn though an older facility is basic, clean, comfortable and economic accomodation within steps of the Pacific Beach boardwalk, but at the quieter north end of Crystal Pier. Having a kitchenette and pool deck BBQ makes it easy to have some meals in when not enjoying the many restaurants in PB. The heated pool and hot tub were great.... what people say » Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed being able to walk for miles on beach/boardwalk, grocery stores were within 5-6 blocks walk a - For the amount we paid we were very pleased. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable! When I read the description of the room it didn't say there was a fridge, microwave or coffee maker...when we walked in the room there was a full kitchen! The staff was always walking around and cleaning up even late at night. One staff member saw us up late and alerted us he had a parking spot open up front so we got to move our car closer.
