It has a great concept and wonderful staff..but the rooms need more than patch repairs to raise its stsndard. didn't use the pool but there were many who did and it was lovely. AND she had to oversee the breakfast bar. - I usually try to stay at Red Roof Inn when I'm in Lubbock on business. The staff is great they go above and beyond your needs.   We liked the proximity to the airport as well as having a free shuttle to and from the airport to the hotel. Enjoyed the free continental breakfast which is served starting at 6 a.m. which works great for early risers or F1 fans wanting to get to the track when it opens. Tim, Lara and Matthew at the front desk were all very helpful and pleasant with all of our questions. All staff were helpful and - We needed to find a hotel for one night near the airport so we could use a shuttle service, as we had to return to the airport to continue our trip the next day. This hotel was very close, but we did not notice any airport noise during our brief stay. Also, the continental breakfast was very good - the variety of offerings pleased everyone in our party.

The hotel had race themed decorations up, gave each guest a race goodie bag, offered a breakfast bag to go each morning for those not enjoying the free hot breakfast, and hosted a "happy hour" each evening. We pla - The location is central to many desired locations, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was clean and well kept. During our stay the elevator was put out of commission by children who "crammed" into it, the staff was very helpful during this period and even discounted our stay for having to deal with the slight inconvenience without us even asking.

  The hotel staff was the best staff I have ever experienced. They went beyond and above what they are expected to do. The breakfast there was unbelievable for a hotel.   The staff were very friendly and most courterious. The facility is old, but they are doing a great job with keeping it up to date and it clean. We got in late and slept in and on checkout the manager insisted he give us cookies for the road. I was expecting a small package and instead it was a huge tin.
