It has a great concept and wonderful staff..but the rooms need more than patch repairs to raise its stsndard. didn't use the pool but there were many who did and it was lovely. AND she had to oversee the breakfast bar. - I usually try to stay at Red Roof Inn when I'm in Lubbock on business. The staff is great they go above and beyond your needs. There maybe needs some updating but as far as comfortable you can't beat it. Nice place to stay

  We were there for the usgp f1 race; room rates were increased, as every hotel in town did, so they got a "good" rating on value. The hotel had race themed decorations up, gave each guest a race goodie bag, offered a breakfast bag to go each morning for those not enjoying the free hot breakfast, and hosted a "happy hour" each evening. Staff was fri... what people say » endly and accommodating at all times. Plenty of dining nearby, and easy highway access. The property was well maintained, very clean and fresh. We pla - The location is central to many desired locations, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was clean and well kept. During our stay the elevator was put out of commission by children who "crammed" into it, the staff was very helpful during this period and even discounted our stay for having to deal with the slight inconvenience without us even asking.

  The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We stayed with two 12 year old girls and felt very safe and comfortable there. The location was close and convenient to just about everything. And also walking distance to the beach since i like to walk at night. - I like that you have the opportunity to fish in the bay right behind the hotel facility. Also the hotel personnel allowed us to stay in the pool past the pool time because we were quiet, but when some other guests checked in we were asked to leave so the other guests wouldn't get in the pool and make noise.

Be aware though that adding a bed to some of the rooms can be a little difficult and leaves the room cramped, but in this part of the world you do not want to be in your room any more than to sleep. The bed was extreamly comfortable and very clean room, staff was amazing, and was only 20 min's from Texas motor speed way. Plan on staying there next year.

  The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. If someone like from a hotel were driving you there from the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport it was ideal in location. It was immaculately clean. Everyone there was so helpful and went overboard to help us in anything we asked for. We stayed 5 nights. The room size was more than adequ... what people say » ate. - Staff was excellent and the kids really enjoyed the pool. We stayed during a weekend when the Cowboys and Ranger were not playing so the price was very reasonable. We also left a very expensive set of ratings in the room on accident and the staff contacted us. Great bunch of folks.
