The beds were comfortable. The mini kitchen proved very useful. The bar on the first floor was great! Having a hot breakfast was a great way to start the day compared to the usual hotel breakfast menu of toast, cereal, and a fruit. Overall it was a something fresh in a town that likes to stick with a country style. The Asian influenced decor was beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was larger than most hotel bathrooms where I've stayed. Staff was excellent. Access was good. Check-in was quick and painless. Good breakfast selections. Extremely cold ac.
all reviews » The interior of the hotel was wonderful. It was very modern, clean and spacious. I will definately go back to this hotel when I visit Lubbock. Sara (I think that was her name) at front desk went way out of her way to be helpful. It was clean and the staff was ready and willing to help where needed. Price Comfortable bed large room. the room was clean and spacious. Cleanliness and size of room. Rooms, Beds, Pet friendly. Breakfast. The location, easy to hop on 289 and get anywhere around lubbock. I like the beds they are very comfortable. The outside when you first pull up to the place looks bland and un-welcoming but that isn't a huge issue. The pool could have been maintained better. Overall there isn't much I can complain about this place. Next time I go to lubbock, this hotel is at the top of my list!. Wifi was not adequate. I could not stream a movie on my Ipad. The window coverings were ugly and let in a lot of light during daylight hours. Wifi in my room, 4th floor, was too weak but lan cable was provided. No restaurants close by (walking). The WiFi never worked and when we went to the front desk there were other guests there with the same problem. This is something that should be looked at because business people will expect it and we were trying to stay in touch with the issues at home. Bathroom floor was sticky, clean, but sticky. the pillows were not to my liking and the a/c blew in my face every time it came on. the young lady at the front desk did not smile at all and was not what I would call friendly. The toilet in the room wouldn't flush correctly. We checked in very late so decided to wait until morning to complain. Had to go to the lobby to use the restroom. Complained to the office supervisor. He just said he was sorry. No compensation was offered. Not having reservations. Poor lighting. Housekeeping was really loud. The staff was rude they would not even engage in helping us know where to park. The room look like a decorator slapped a bandaid on a run down room. They only provide you with two towels in your room and the bed was hard as a rock. Not to mention everything felt and looked dirty. The free breakfast was so packed you could not even get in the breakfast area. Then when we did make it though the swarm of people we settled for juice and a banana. Everything is just run down and dirty. The pool wasnt working?...tv in floor lobby had been removed but the bracket was there made iy look trashy.
