Fantastic, safe location just a few short minutes by foot to Times Square and in the centre of Restaurant Row - in-house restaurant was great too and we had a few meals there - including room service. The rooms were huge for New York. Coffee and cakes available throughout the day and evening. - Loved our short stay here. Great location and charming inn - more like staying in a home than a hotel, which is especially hard to come by in New York. We had large, comfortable room on the main floor. Friendly staff (and friendly cat!), cozy breakfast room. We liked the bar downstairs as well. We will definitely come back here another time.

I travel to NYC about 10 times a year. I have hotels at which I customarily stay, but this trip came up suddenly and everything was sold out or exorbitantly expensive. There was always a doorman to open the door, and friendly staff at the desk to welcome us every time we returned to the hotel. The elevators were fast. The room was very comfortable, with high-quality furnishings. Loved the Keurig coffeemaker, and the tv in the bathroom. Enjoyed the free breakfasts, and there was always a New York Times available to read with our coffee. After a busy day of sightseeing, the "happy hour" was much appreciated; we would take o

Short walk to the Path-train, taking you to Manhattan. The travel distance was short, and it was actually relaxing coming back to Jersey City in the evening after a crowded and hectic day in NYC. The flat (one bedroom) was large enough for the four of us (two girls 12 & 16) and the beds in the livingroom were comfortable. No complaints! Also a nice mall in Newport for quiet shopping.
