  We really liked being in the upcountry and the quiet of the location. It was close to our son who lives in Pukalani. The local restaurants were excellent and fairly reasonable price wise. The place was very clean and well equipped for cooking - beds comfortable- bathrooms updated. Heaters helped with dampness.   A phone call to the staff provided the code to the key lock box. There was no other contact with staff. The cottage was once a private residence with a beautiful, secluded lot and every comfort of home.

  Very quaint old place with much charm. Very quiet and close to shopping and restaurants. Great older couple runs the place. Great value and and equally great find - View of Lahaina harbor Maui, easy going manner of the staff. Low cost place to stay in an expensive area. Old and quaint, but clean and quiet.

  The location was great for access to Volcano National Park. The tour of the on-site lava tube was great. The setting was beautiful. Breakfast first day seemed kind of limited for kids but realized Shannon thought is was for two adults. Once she found out I was traveling with my daughter she put out "kid-friendly" options. If you are expecting a 5 star this is not for you.   Free shuttle to and from airport is great. Our room was neat and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Liked the fact that there was a laundry room on our floor ( we did one load of wash), and for future reference noted the microwave, empty refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Also liked that there was a stamp machine and an atm machine available. Seems like a lot of - We stayed for one night before continuing on with our vacation. Loved the size of the hotel, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, nice room, lovely pool area. Enjoyed walking in the area and going to Byron's. We would definately stay here again and will highly recommend it to our friends. We walked thru the Best Western but preferred your hotel, less busy and more personal and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.
