  The facade of the facility is very beautiful but the rooms need updating. The room I stayed in seemed a bit run down. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom's faucets and shower faucets were all rusted and dirty looking like cleaning solution was placed on them but they were never cleaned.   The room was so clean and everything fresh and tidy. We only visited the hotel as an overnight stop on a long trip, but would recommend it for multiple days. Kids would love it. - Hotel staff very professional and friendly lobby is attractive, great fireplace! Room spacious, very clean&attractive

  I liked the coziness of the Inn. The room was very nice and my window overlooked the Main Street which was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very nice. - Location ideal for an academic visit to Wesleyan. Good access to downtown shops and restaurants. Dining room remained open past 10 pm, which was a big help.

  The setting could not be more beautiful. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and very lovely. The public spaces are sumptuous and elegantly appointed. The rooms while extremely basic, and more like a well designed motel than a resort still had the finest textiles. Thick towels and pillow top beds with high count sheets. It's quite a steep walk ... what people say » up from the beach but for anyone who wishes they will send a golf cart driven by attractive young staff to make the journey easy! - The waiter for our dinner was great. We wanted something that was not on the menu and they accommodated us very nicely. we we running short on time as we were going to an event a few miles away and when we told him this he brought us the bill immediately. He could not have been nicer!!!

  The place was clean and fresh and close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was good and made even better by the wonderful service provided by the host/waiter. - had a problem setting room temperature. I called the front desk and a very nice young man came immediately and fixed it and showed me how to do it myself
