The staff was very helpful even when letsbookhotel.com messed up our reservations, they found us a room and we were able to stay in the same room for the entire time.   I was pleasantly surprised with the overall appearance and cleanliness of the room and pool. I was nervous about the stay bc of the bad reviews. In my opinion they were totally off base. The staff was courteous and helpful. They made sure we had a pet free/smoke free room due to allergies. Breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was actually good. ... what people say » I actually was looking forward to giving a good review. I would definately stay again. - I would stay again when I vistit mystic again....the place was clean, quiet and the girl at the desk was excellent... We also was looking for a good place to eat and she send us to steak loft excellent place not to far and the price was great...room was clean and the beds were very comfortable..and the staff was very polite..   The hotel was huge and very nicely decorated, both in the reception area and in the rooms. There were actual birds in the lobby, not sure if they were supposed to be there or squatting, but I thought they were cute. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I grew up in Greenwich 50 years ago and this was my first trip back to see old friends I had grown up with.
