I was pleasantly surprised with the overall appearance and cleanliness of the room and pool. I was nervous about the stay bc of the bad reviews. In my opinion they were totally off base. The staff was courteous and helpful. They made sure we had a pet free/smoke free room due to allergies. Breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was actually good. I actually was looking forward to giving a good review. I would definately stay again.

We also was looking for a good place to eat and she send us to steak loft excellent place not to far and the price was great...room was clean and the beds were very comfortable..and the staff was very polite.. See you again. Very easy access. The breakfast is a BIG bonus. It is good, served constantly, area is kept clean, the dining area is very comfortable. The room provided all we asked for and it was QUIET during the night so we were able to get needed rest. THANKS. The location of this chain hotel is great, just on the outskirts of Mystic allowing easy access to the town and surrounding areas. Great breakfast, everywhere nice and clean, staff friendly and welcoming. Nice clean relatively quiet except for children running up and down hallways spraying water on doors. Staff handled the situation well. Too bad parents can't handle their children. Staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and attendant was right there. Beds were extremely comfortable and bedding fresh and new. The staff is always great here. The location and comfort are excellent for the price. Breakfast is included. The free breakfast was super and would have cost $8-10 in a restaurant. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Clean rooms,early check-in was requested and allowed. The pool area needs more lounge chairs and any landscaping would make the area in the pool more enjoyable. The breakfast was ok, but not great. Rooms were clean. Had to search for ice bucket and glasses ( on lower shelf of night stand). The wall paper is starting to peel away in some areas of room. Nothing. Front desk girls at check in, not so much. We requested king room they gave us double. Moved us when we called - room 145 was very musty/moldy smelling. I bought room spray in town. The workout room left alot to be desired, one bike, both treadmills broken. Signed up for two double beds, was given one b eed and a sofa. Remodeling looks good One thing that would improve it at low cost is to paint doors and door casings. Nothing. Not enough room at the breakfast buffet. Very cluttered into small space and many people. Had to wait in long lines. They never cleaned the room, and I couldn't believe they didn't have some extra beach chairs, there is space there for at least 6 more lounge chairs, I went to Walmart to buy my own. There were only 4 chairs which were always taken. Also the bathroom door next to the reception desk doesn't lock and I used it twice only to be barged in on twice. Very disappointing. Then when the kid came in to at least grab two days worth of dirty towels he was jittery and nervous and ran in and ran out. nothing. very good. My room seemed to be 5 city blocks from the lobby!. My room smelled like the essence of urine -- not very pleasant. If you allow animals in the rooms, and they urinate on the rugs, you should clean them quite often. If the smell of urine doesn't leave the room, the rug should be replaced, or rugs should be removed altogether. Shower in need of repair and bed sheets rough and a little itchy. Please help me with an urgent matter. Even though I paid letsbookhotel.com in full for the one-night stay. They also charged me on my credit card. So I paid twice. I called to have them remove the charge and they don't call me back!!!!!. Carpet was threadbare and the comforters were dirty. A/C in the building was so poor that there were fans running in the hallway. Pool was small and breakfast space was too small. Overpriced. Very disappointed!. The whole hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. It is extremely shabby and corridors looked like they hadn't been hoovered in ages. Everything. Was told to come back 3 times to check in after 3. Did that and had to wait again. No rooms were ready for anyone waiting to check in. Staff just standing around prior to that with arms crossed. Finally called Hyatt and got a room there. Was treated very well and had a very nice room. Staff was very helpful and made our stay much more enjoyable than the comfort inn would have been.
