  Merchants in village treated us great. Staff is excellent and very friendly. Went out of way to accommodate us showing up a day early (my mistake), with a full hotel. - Good location but that's about it.

  We were staying in Telluride for the bluegrass festival. A bluegrass band was playing in the hotel foyer every morning and early evening which set the atmosphere well. The hotel was about 20 minutes' walk from the festival grounds in a quiet location, but close to all the shops/bars.   The location, the staff, and our wonderful room with a balcony overlooking the village. The breakfast was wonderful as was the staff.
