And we will be back soon! - A bit too much "work" going on in lobby and out front throughout the stay - I know such must occur, but perhaps some small discount/accomodation is in order for those who endure it. Still not too big a deal for me, but something to think about.   The location in the Garden District was within walking distance of the lovely antebellum mansions and great restaurants. The streetcar was right outside our door. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return in a - We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

  Nice clean hotel within walking distance to convention center, wwii Museum, buses, streetcar stations. We walked to French Quarter and it was a nice 10 ~ 15 min walk. Our room had a king bed, sofa and desk area, kitchen area w/small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a sink. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. If you was in bed you can turn the tv towards the bed, if you was on the couch you can turn the tv towards the couch. I love It!!

We also loved that breakfast and was served Monday each morning, and dinner was served Monday thru Thursday for free, with very good hot and enjoyable meals. The location was great also, within walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to - My overall stay was awesome!!!! The staff members overall service was superb!!! They were pleasant from the time we checked in up to the moment we checked out. This was one of my best stay at any hotel and I have stayed at many hotels. Management did an awesome job in choosing these employees. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.   First of all, the location is perfect! We were able to park at the French Market a block away for $20/day. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and you could really tell he wanted us to enjoy our stay. Our room was just right, we had everything we needed including lots of clean towels and coffee service. We also really loved relaxing in the c... what people say » ourtyard area- it's lovely! We will definitely try to stay here when we return! - The property is an eclectic mix of old and new but with modern kitchens & comfortable furnishings. The staff were wonderful & gave great suggestions for dinner. The location is fantastic (in the "no bus zone" of the Quarter, so it's much less noisy than the other end). Also just steps from all types of shopping and dining. I will definitely stay here again!
