Location location location! Little over a block from bourbon st! Free yummy hot breakfast, steps from the best live music and party street around and the best value and service for your money. We have stayed in a fancy bourbon st hotel before and while the experience is nice, for the value of everything I have mentioned we will stay here every time we come back to NOLA! And we will be back soon!.
all reviews » A bit too much "work" going on in lobby and out front throughout the stay - I know such must occur, but perhaps some small discount/accomodation is in order for those who endure it. Still not too big a deal for me, but something to think about. Also disappointed as a gold member that letsbookhotel.com had a cheaper rate than through the Hilton Honors website - did not understand that. Staff friendly, afternoon cookies, very close to french quarter and all the things we wanted to do. Felt very safe with staff always at front door and needing key to use elevator to go to floors. Location was ideal for canal and bourbon streets. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Staff were friendly and attentive. Facilities were good. Would definately stay here again. Location, nice size rooms, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, location, location (did I mention location), close to all we wanted to see and easy walk. Short walk to Bourbon and Canal streets with lots of restaurant options. Close to tram lines on Canal Street. Hot breakfast. Free wireless internet. The staff were all very friendly. Convenient to the French quarter. Very nice facility will definetly stay again!. Great location - just far enough from Bourbon St to avoid the noise. Large rooms. Helpful staff. Everything! We didn't know until we got there. got an older room. My sister got a new room. Some issues with elevator when we arrived 5/20/13. Nothing. Expensive for parking car and we weren't told of the parking before we went. Beds were not very comfortable (we slept badly both nights). We have old bones and the beds are not made for old bones (lumpy). The good made up for the bad though. Our bill was 400 dollars for two nights and that is a little too high for seniors. We would have to think hard about staying there again because we are on fixed income. Bathroom small. Room rate high. Breakfast was ok - nothing out of the ordinary. Room keys not programmed. Access to door after 11pm was difficult with room key. Air conditioner vent leaked in room. That we had to leave and go back home!!!. the A/C unit was really loud. when myself and three of my friends checked into the Hotel, We Had to wear wrist bands so we could reenter the Hotel when we went out for anything, and no outside guest were allowed to visit with us. Because of this I will not be staying @ the Hampton next Mardi Gras or any other Hotel that has such Strict rules. RWM. Expensive for parking car, poor breakfast for the price of the hotel. Sleeping in couch was awful. we were up all nigh due to a noisey ac fan! hotal was award of this problem??? They did agree to a refund.
