  We did not book directly through Best Western so when we arrived, we discovered our room did not have a balcony but a patio instead. Told the management of our displeasure and they moved us to the 3rd floor the next day. We appreciated the accomodation. Once moved, we were very happy to have a private balcony. Room was very clean and the housekeep... what people say » ers were very friendly and thorough. - We would definitely stay here again. Was so clean and comfortable, that it felt like home. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for shopping, eating, and catching the ferry to Mackinack Island.

  We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony. We liked it so much were going to go back again next year. - We arrived a little early about 2:30 and w... what people say » e were going to have to wait until check in time which is 4:00. However the manager decided to put us into a room that was ready and turned out to be an upgrade. We were weary travelers and were very thankful.
