  Unbeatable location on the Strip: walking distance to all the attractions, and quite close to the Bellagio fountain in particular. The room was clean, and the bed was large and comfortable. Everything was nice, and very good value for the money. One thing that deserves a particular mention is the excellent free Wi-Fi (both in-room coverage and the... what people say » speed were very good, it appears the motel has some 20 hotspots). The buffet breakfast was an added plus, and so was the friendly service at the rece - We were able to drop our bags off before checking in, the pool(s) and hot tub(s) were great and open 24/7 (except for during a rain storm of course) . Not sure if this is a plus or a minus but this hotel is extremely family friendly which was not what we expected. It's also around the corner from the start of the strip (luxor/mgm grand area) and while "around the corner" in Vegas is still pretty far, the location was great for the price. Also room service was always super quick and friendly.

  The room was very comfortable. The fridge was a great advantage and so was the complimentary coffee. The hotel is close to downtown Las Vegas and there is a good shuttle bus to the Strip, the bus to the airport stops at the corner of the street.   I liked the Rodeway Inn Convention Center because the location was great! We only had to walk for 5 minutes to get to the Strip. We enjoyed the pool and the room was nice and newly painted.   The desk clerk at check in was the nicest man I have ever had the pleasure to work with at check in. He was warm, smiling, took care of problems in the reservation, answered phones enthusiastically, made recommendations that were great, and was VERY clear about key instructions like Internet passwords. I so wish I noted his name for you. - Rooms newly refurbished & clean! I wasn't expecting too much given the internet price, however, was highly impressed with the room (non-smoking). Fridge was brand new as was the furniture - air conditioning was cold! Although off-strip, mall & restaurants 2 blocks away. Will stay here again!

Staying at Howard Johnson's allowed us to stay within our budget, and to be a 5 minute drive from the hotel where all of our events were.   From the moment I walked in to the reception the staff just smiled and was super-friendly. Got help when i neede to make phonecalls and I was able to do a very late check-out. Rooms were clean, pillows very comfortable and size of room was good. I liked my stay and can def recommend this.
