Loved the location, the staff were excellent, we were upgraded upon
arrival for no additional cost. The staff made every effort to make sure
we were taken care of---oh, except for the day doorman. We needed a cab---
very easy to get by ourselves---but the doorman insisted on flagging one
for us. But, then he got involved with a couple checking in. We had to
leave and we kept telling him...so, we flagged our own cab. No big deal.

It was centrally located and the rooms were clean and nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Traveled w/ friends who check-in the day before and the hotel was able to get us rooms next to each other. We had double bed rooms and being a NYC hotel, the space was more than I expected, however, closet space was almost non-existent.
... what people say » I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. - We really enjoyed staying at South Park Hotel, and would stay there again without hesitation. The room was very confortable and clean, the staff were helpful and polite. It is in a great location too, slightly away from the crazy tourist part of the city, but you could still walk to these if you wished - but within easy reach of some great bars and restaurants on Lexington and 3rd Ave etc.
