  Nice historic hotel with a great location, next to imax, around the corner from the Alamo and 1-2 block walk to the lively area on the Riverwalk. Great base for walking to most downtown spots. Quick trolley ride to the Market Square. Clean and simple rooms were just what we needed. Excellent breakfast with belgian waffle station, breakfast tacos (... what people say » with eggs, refried beans, salsa and cheese), fruit, cereal, bagels/pastries, yogurt, juice/coffee - filled us up all the way until dinner! Staff were - The location is the key factor, actually next door to the Alamo and very close to the Riverwalk area and the Mall. Felt safe to walk in these areas even late at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a standard room in an old historic hotel, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast that was included was good. The city bus from the airport stops just four blocks from the Crockett, an easy walk passing over the Riverwalk,

  I liked every aspect of this hotel. The rooms were beautiful and felt comfortable. The showers are huge and everything is well taken care of. I like the personal feel of this hotel; since there are only 16 total rooms the innkeepers are there whenever needed. The breakfast is outstanding; homemade quiche is one of a kind. This hotel had excellent reviews when I booked it and it far exceeded my - I loved the location and the B&B style. Being right in the center of the Riverwalk center; we felt like we were miles away once we walked in the front door of the Vista. The breakfast was perfect, cookies and wine at 5. Best weekend get-away ever!! Our room was beautiful and very clean. Check-in was incredibly friendly and welcoming!

  My wife and I have just returned from a 3 week touring vacation of southern states in the U.S. 1 night of which we spent at the Fairfield Inn & Suites San Antonio Downtown. We had done a fair amount of research as to where to stay in San Antonio, somewhere peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to the touristy things in San Antonio, (The A... what people say » lamo, Riverwalk etc). Arrival: Upon arrival at the hotel, the valet parking guys were eager to assist, after driving for 7-8 hours, a welcome sight. T - Staff was excellent. When checking out, I discovered that I had left my credit card at a eatery on the river the night before. The young lady at the desk was very helpful in helping me track down the name of the restaurant and calling them to locate my card. The manager had my card and she arranged for me to meet him and pick it up. Thank you for your extra effort in resolving what could have been a very inconvenient exercise of credit card replacement.

  Had to change nights. Westin and letsbookhotel.com were able to accommodate change. have not been able to do that with other sites. Thanks to ALEX at Westin!! - Loved the pool. Beauitifully designed with good views. Beds very comfortable. Nice and spacious bathroom. Shower is AMAZING.
