  Self-contained unit, safe secure entry, spacious with modern kitchen facilities. Plastic bowls and plates cutlery etc..but I guess it saves washing and breakage. Good clothes storage facilities. Neighbourhood is quite ethnic..but safe as we walked back fro the subway late at night and went shopping to try to buy food to cook..which was impossible ... what people say » unless you have ethnic/Asian tastes. Most of the European restaurants are at the other end of Brooklyn near the bridge. Though there is a McDonalds ab - We were really impressed with the hotel. Surprisingly nice for such a great price. It isn't in manhattan but it is a 10 min walk between 2 metro stations and fast to get to everywhere. The area itself was multi cultural which means great food! Also, there were some really great cafes and bars in walking distance (we loved sycamore - which is a flower shop with a bar in the back, milk and honey - which has great breakfast, and there is even a coffee shop at newkirk plaza station that had Toby's

  We arrived to a great staff, great location. Wilson put us on the top floor with a fantastic view of Brooklyn. We had a 12 and a 9 year old with us and the hotel was close to the top of their list of sites that included all of New Yorks hits. 12 year old got sick and the staff let us check out late and even sent toast and ginger ale to our room... what people say » . Less than 2 blocks from subway entrance and 10 minute ride to Times Square. Barclay Center can be seen from hotel window and a 10 min walk away. - We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Brooklyn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially thought Victor Balbi was most helpful, patient and accommodating with our needs for directions in getting around the City by Subway and planning our day sight seeing ny.
