While Washington is obviously a great place and worth another visit, we will come ba - The visit at Ledroit Park Renaissance Bed and Breakfast Was amazing! The room we stayed at was very good with comfortable beds. The couple that host us was really nice and even checked what kind of breakfast we would love to eat. They helped us with where to go in dc And by the end they took us to the bus station because we had a lot of luggage. Also the place is close to the train station. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay

It's within walking distance to the White - The hotel is fully renovated. Nice, clean, modern. Having a kitchen helped feed breakfast in the morning for kids. Close to Mt. Vernon square metro station-yellow line. Friendly front desk. Elisa is great. Left our bags at the hotel upon check out since we had a later flight. CVS is round the block for groceries. We were flying from DCA - so a quick 5 min walk to metro and we were at the airport < 30mins!!

Good choice of restaurants a few minutes' walk away.

  Staff. Helpful and friendly, chatty. Hot showers. Big house, communal rooms with big Tvs and sofas. About a 4 block walk to Verizon centre and the gallery metro. Free pc Internet access. Codes to main door and all rooms, seemed very safe/secure. My 6 bed ladies room had at the least 2 of us for a couple nights and Max 4 the other nights! Location is ok, can walk to major DC attractions, but it's not a short walk.
