This place looked little tired but the rooms were large, very clean,really great location with lots of eating places near by also street car straight across road and the staff very very helpful. Breakfast was also included and was really nice and large selection. The only negative was that we stayed the weekend of Jazz Festival and the room price nearly doubled but we would certainly stay there again loved it

We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

I came as a solo traveler in the middle of the night because of a late flight, and even though the staff had confusion about who was supposed to be in which room, they handled it just fine that evening and in the morning when we switched rooms to get it straightened out the way we were supposed to be. Walking distance to Bourbon street but far enough away to not hear noise. Close to the French Market. Room was nice, great king sized bed. Courtyard was perfect for my husband to hang out and use his ipad and be able to smoke. We will definitely stay here again! Great location!!

When I first arrived I was disappointed to find out I would be staying in the guest house across the street. My disappointment evaporated when I entered my room. The bedroom was large with a comfortable bed. Then I looked at the bathroom it was as large as the bedroom with a jacuzzi bathtub and a separate walkin shower all tastefully done.
