The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our suite was very clean with a balcony overlooking the pool and on the right spot for a late afternoon sunshine. It lacked a corkscrew, I asked for it and is was brought to the room within 5 minutes.
And the best: the location! Vibrant Hillcrest accross the street, a new Vons 5 min walking and close to all major roads.

The staff is amazing! So helpful! I needed to stay an extra night and right away the front desk was able to move some things arownd so that I didn't have to move my 3 young children around and we were able to stay in the same room. They also got me a crib for the baby. I asked for it at the front desk at check in and by the time I made it to the room they were putting it in there! For the price the place was great, but the staff is like a 4 diamond resort! You guys were the best! Thank you for

Hotel is a little dated, but everything in the room looked pretty new except the carpet. We just needed a place to spend the night after full day at Sea World. it worked great for that. -

Phenomenally good value for money. Just book it. The room was well and
tastefully appointed and fitted with tv, cafetiere and fridge as well as
table and chairs. A good cafe was on site serving simple but very
palatable fare. There were also gym and pool facilities which I did not
use. The location was very practical with only short drives to Sea
World, Midway Museum, Old Town, Zoo etc (in fact there were shuttles
available for a couple of these destinations). I felt very relaxed there

I stayed here very recently for six nights while attending a conference downtown. Let me say it was totally worth the extra effort and cost in cabs to get downtown ( half hour by bus, 15 minutes 13 bucks by cab). The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional, from the cleaning staff, valet parking attendants, front desk folks and management. It was a very nice hotel. And so beautiful! We lived in a room with to large queen size. It was very spacious and a bit old fashioned. But in a good way. It was close to a big mall, which we really approved. We didn't have breakfast included, but there is a nice café in the area (the hotel is in a very big area and has a lot of rooms all over the place) that had good sandwiches and Starbuck coffee.
