  This hotel is in Chinatown and located only a few doors down from directly under the Manhattan bridge. Sounds terrible but it's not. We were on a budget and this hotel was perfect. It makes a huge difference being on Manhattan, so as long as you can stand the Asian smells on the sidewalk, everything from here is as accessible as anywhere else on m... what people say » anhattan. The metro is a 5 min walk away taking you to time square within 20mins or less. The room was large, clean and recently refurbished. The beds - I though the hotel was very clean, especially the rooms. The location was good, train stations were 3-4 blocks away which made getting around town easy. The neighborhood (Chinatown), although dirty was safe. Staff was friendly and tentative for the most part. The rooms, for being nyc were good size. There was not porter fee to pay for as a group booking.

  This was our first time staying at the Broadway Plaza Hotel but it will definitely be our first choice for the next time we visit NYC. Fabulous staff, perfect location and wonderful facilities.   Friendly staff. The hot water in the shower was fine this year so that problem has been remedied and the shower enclosure was new, as well. - Our room, it was raelly good!
